Regional Channel Account Manager - Bilingual French Preferred

REGIONAL CHANNEL ACCOUNT MANAGER - POSITION SUMMARY

Operating as a key member of the GN sales team, a Regional Channel Manager is responsible for the planning, management and execution of all activities required to manage existing partner relationship, develop and drive new channel partners, and assist partners increasing Jabra revenue. The Regional Channel Manager will develop and execute joint channel (specific named targeted partners in geographic region) business plans with their assigned partners to increase product awareness, drive sales revenue and margin, as well as identify market opportunities and growth areas within GN sales channels. The Regional Channel Manager will act as the liaison between the Company’s channel partners and internal cross-functional teams.

* Must reside locally or within an hour of Toronto.

* Ability to speak/write English and French is preferred, but not required.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (these tasks include but are not limited to)

  • Achieve/exceed established regional target revenues, growth, partner recruitment and other key performance indicators
  • Develop and execute regional partner strategy with the goal to meet and exceed the company’s target growth revenue targets
  • Develop and execute regional partner enablement initiatives, partner demand generation, account mapping, and other partner-facing initiatives to increase pipeline and close revenue
  • Develop and support sales territory planning effort with Jabra end user Territory Sales Manager/s (high touch team sales)
  • Review and understand market and industry factors to formulate appropriate business plan initiatives and accurate forecasts
  • Implement product launch programs with specified channels; Drive the product placement and business management process within leading partner operations
  • Recruit and develop new target partners for incremental revenue and growth
  • Become knowledgeable on all GN products and applications as related to products sold by channels in the territory/ region. Ability to assist partner with creating and closing new opportunities particularly in SME and MM independently
  • Deliver product and sales training with the appropriate channel partners to develop sales opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with appropriate channel partners
  • Maintain accurate and timely account records as needed for efficient account management
  • Inform management of issues and trends that may affect business outcome and success of the sales team
  • Perform other related tasks or duties as required
  • Travel within defined territory with ability to travel up to 50%

 

REQUIRED 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min 1-3 years channel sales experience selling hardware or communication solutions to distributors, resellers, value added resellers, service providers or carriers  
  • Proven ability to build new business and meet or exceed sales quotas 
  • Strong relationship building with executive or management personnel (internal and external partners) 
  • Ability to create winning business strategies and influence partner leadership
  • Effective presentation and communication skills for partner enablement and development. Successful group presentations experience is essential
  • Must have experience in writing, successfully implementing and tracking a well prepared sales plan 
  • Strong aptitude to leverage technology and software tools to optimize performance

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 

  • Proficiency using customer contact software is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
  • Results oriented self-starter, energetic, determined to succeed, entrepreneurial individual placing primary focus on the departmental goals and objectives
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and works well with others in a team oriented environment
  • Is creative, logical, analytical and willing to try new approaches required by the company and the marketplace
  • Able to produce and leverage data-driven results and outcomes for business planning 
  • Will be capable of determining the effectiveness of an approach and able to make the appropriate adjustment to achieve maximum results
  • Strong time management skills
